*Speech: Extemp, Dramatic Interp, Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, Duo Interp, Humorous Interp, Impromptu, and Program of Oral Interpretation. 

Debate: Congressional, Lincoln Douglas, Policy, Public Forum, Parliamentary, and World Schools.

Prize and Certificates

$100 IN CASH for top team in each division

$50 IN CASH for finalists in each division

$50 IN CASH for top new teams** in each division

**a top new team is a team who has not yet competed in the National Forensics Olympiad during the current tournament year.

Bids and Bios

Top competitors will earn qualification bids*** into the National Forensics Olympiad (NFO) Championship. 

Securing 1.0 bids assures Gold division, while 0.5 bids secure entry into the Silver division at the NFO Championship.

Bid totals and top competitors will be posted on the IOF competition results page, accompanied by a tailored biography featuring an image and debate achievements intro.

***bids will be distributed down to the top x(where x depends on the # of entries in your division) team that does not have >= 1.0 bids.

USAFO September Open : 9/30 - 10/1

USAFO October Open : 10/21 - 10/22

USAFO November Open : 11/18 - 11/19

USAFO December Open : 12/16 - 12/17

USAFO January Open : 1/20 - 1/21

USAFO February Open : 2/24 - 2/25

USAFO March Open : 3/23 - 3/24  

IOFR Open 

For International(Non-US) Students

You can enroll in the International Olympiad in Forensics Regional (IOFR) Open events if you are not residents**** of the USA, providing the opportunity to qualify for the International Olympiad in Forensics (IOF) in June. Act now, join below:

IOFR January Open : 1/20 - 1/21

IOFR February Open : 2/24 - 2/25

IOFR March Open : 3/23 - 3/24

****residents = have resided in said country starting at least 6 months prior to the NFO Open event.

 

INDFO, CANFO, CHIFO Open...

As participation in IOFR Open increases from a specific nation in their forensic Olympics, we'll arrange exclusive open tournaments like INDFO, CANFO, CHIFO, etc., for their participants.
