Alyssa is an eight grader from Fremont, California. She likes debate because it gives her a deeper understanding of contemporary issues, forces her to see every topic from different perspectives, and for the adrenaline rush that comes from facing an opponent. She looks forward to many more tournaments. In her spare time, she likes reading, playing basketball, listening to music, and studying mathematics.
