Samarth serves as the Debate Captain for his school's program and primarily competes in Lincoln-Douglas debate, with additional experience in Parliamentary Debate. A predominantly traditional debater who is comfortable adapting to lay and technical judging paradigms, he particularly enjoys policy and theory-heavy rounds that emphasize strategic weighing, clash, and line-by-line refutation. His competitive record includes numerous tournament championships, ten Top 3 Speaker awards, a Top 3 Speaker finish at MSTOC, and elimination-round appearances at both MSTOC and CHSSA State. He is committed to developing rigorous advocacy, persuasive public speaking, and thoughtful engagement with complex issues both in and out of the round.
